At the NASA Ames Research Center located in Mountain View, CA, I have had the opportunity to work on the Mission Systems team for VIPER– a lunar mission with the intent of sending a rover to the South Pole of the moon in search of water and other resources.

During my time here, I acted as the Lead Designer for the DIY Mission Control application. I also did significant UX design, UI development, and testing work for VIPER's mission control software known as Open MCT in order to make the software mission-ready. Lastly, I helped VIPER Mission Operators prepare for the mission by designing and building their mission displays to be used during flight.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Received the One KBR Award (March 2024)  for exemplary leadership and quality of work demonstrated in the UI/UX development for VIPER.

Open MCT User's Guide

Led the development of the Open MCT User's Guides.– providing comprehensive documentation and covering all aspects how to view/use data, navigating the application, in-depth tutorials, and composing and customizing views.

These manuals were used by VIPER mission personnel as we trained them to use Open MCT to carry out the mission.
